WinstonNet Receives Grant to help Schools
JournalNow reports that the non-profit WinstonNet received $200,000 from the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation to “develop a program to provide high-speed Internet service to the state’s elementary, middle and high schools.” The money is from $6 Million dollars the NC General Assembly gave the Institute to design the connectivity program.
